Refund policy
At Essentially Yours Organic Wellness, we strive to provide quality products and excellent service. Please read our Returns, Refunds, and Exchange Policy carefully before making a purchase.
General Policy
All sales are considered final unless otherwise required by South African law. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect product selection by the customer
- Products ordered in error
- Products that have been used, altered, or damaged by the customer
However, customers retain all rights afforded under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is:
- Defective,
- Damaged upon delivery, or
- Not the product that you ordered,
please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item.
You may be required to provide:
- Your order number
- Proof of purchase
- Photographs showing the issue
Where a defect or error is confirmed, we may, in accordance with the CPA:
- Repair the product,
- Replace the product, or
- Provide a refund.
Six-Month Consumer Warranty
In accordance with Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, consumers are entitled to a six-month warranty against defects in goods purchased from us.
If a product fails to meet the standards required by the CPA within six months of delivery, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, subject to the provisions of the Act.
This warranty does not apply to damage caused by:
- Misuse
- Abuse
- Negligence
- Unauthorized modifications
- Normal wear and tear
Digital Products and Downloadable Content
All purchases of digital products, downloadable content, subscriptions, templates, software licenses, and similar electronic goods are final and non-refundable once access has been granted or the product has been delivered, except where required by law.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is a result of:
- A defective product,
- An incorrect item supplied by us, or
- Another circumstance where the CPA requires reimbursement.
Cancellation of Orders
Orders may only be cancelled before they have been processed or shipped. Once processing has begun, cancellation requests may not be accepted.
